Grant Guidelines
The Foundation makes grants only to public charities (not to private foundations) that are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that provide direct services to fulfill the Foundation's charitable purposes.
Grants are provided for both program and capacity building support. No match is required. Partnerships are encouraged.
Grants will not be made for fund raising activities or for any political cause. Emphasis is on organizations in or near the Jacksonville, Florida area, but not limited exclusively to this area.
You may submit a "Preliminary Grant Proposal." This proposal will allow the Foundation's Executive Director to see if there is merit in the request. The Director will work closely with the organization to develop a final submission.
